14ct White Gold Sandcast R52 Style Ring with Teal Montana Sapphire

During the process of commissioning a ring to commemorate a special anniversary, our lovely customer initially felt inspired by our R52 7mm, 0.1ct Diamond Rock Ring. They particularly enjoyed the contrast of how the diamond appears to be delicately balanced between the sturdy precious metal shoulders of the ring.

While the rugged divots of ruthenium plated texture in our Rock Rings contrast beautifully with the precise and gleaming facets of white diamonds, our customer had a strong preference towards the more subtly dappled finish of our Sandcast Collection, and felt drawn towards the ocean hued depths of a teal Montana sapphire, from our collection of ethically sourced gemstones. 

We combined influences from across our collections to entirely realise our customer's vision and think the finished ring is a beautiful example of imbuing your jewellery with personality. Steely 14ct white gold, flecked with sandy texture, conjures the sense of our broiling winter oceans. We could definitely get lost gazing into the depths of the especially tidal sapphire!

During the sandcasting process, tiny grains of sand are captured within the precious metal. This not only imparts the gorgeous organic texture but immortalises a personal and favourite place within your jewellery, to be carried alongside you whenever worn. Our Sand Collection contains over 500 sands from beaches, rivers, deserts and oceans - some collected by our team, most hand-collected and sent in by our wonderful customers from across the world and each telling so many stories.
