14ct Yellow Gold Sandcast Wedding Ring with Bead Set Heirloom Diamonds

For their wedding ring, our lovely customer wanted to reimagine the diamonds from a particularly sentimental family heirloom, which had become too worn to wear safely. During a video appointment with Jamila, our customer reimagined their heirloom diamonds into a wedding ring more befitting their personal style.

They initially felt inspired by our Sandcast Half Diamond Eternity Ring, enjoying the sparkle and security of channel setting. The 4mm wide band feels secure and tangible without feeling too chunky. However, our customer's beautiful heritage diamonds slightly varied in diameter, meaning that a channel setting wouldn't necessarily best showcase all of the sparkly stones.

Our lovely customer also felt drawn towards the bead set scatter of gemstones across our Sandcast Shaped Sapphire Ring but preferred a straighter profile to the shaped band. We combined designs elements from across ideas and inspirations to ensure the wedding ring would be loved for a lifetime. We think the finished band is a beautiful tribute to the sentimentality of the heirloom materials. The diamonds twinkle amongst divots of organic sandy texture, and glint beautifully against the vivid hue of 14ct yellow gold as if emerging from within the precious metal.

Our journal post, Remodel Your Old Jewellery, outlines the processes and points of consideration when reworking your own heirloom jewellery. We are always delighted to breathe new life into meaningful materials and to create new, future heirlooms.
