18ct Yellow Gold Sandcast Drop Pendant with an Heirloom Ruby

Our lovely customer had this stunning heirloom ruby remaining from a larger commission with us and opted to reimagine them into an organic feeling pendant that could be worn alone or as part of a complimentary set with their other pieces.

Inspired by our Sandcast 18ct Gold Drop Pendant, we increased the dimensions of our standard design to accommodate their ruby, which lends the pendant a beautiful weight and tactility. We find the pendant to have a gorgeously regal feeling, with the rich tones of 18ct yellow gold and the particularly deep hued ruby harmonising beautifully. The divots of sandcast texture particularly conjure a sense of precious treasure, while still feeling contemporary.
