22ct Gold Sandcast Engagement Ring with Sri Lankan Sapphire & Heirloom Diamonds
Our lovely customer had a collection of sentimental jewellery they wished to remodel into a unique and deeply meaningful organic engagement ring for their Cornish partner. The gorgeously chunky 22ct band itself was cast in a mixture of sands from personally meaningful locations, which is one of our favourite ways to add an almost secret sense of sentiment to your jewellery.
Four sparkly heirloom diamonds were a perfect compliment to frame the stunning Sri Lankan red sapphire, set in a cluster of bespoke bezel & claw settings. We love how the gemstones appear to be sprouting out of the rich 22ct yellow gold, and were delighted to be able to truly realise a vision for an organic and bespoke engagement ring, while revitalising otherwise unworn heirloom materials. For detailed information on the process of reworking your own materials, please read our journal post. We also compiled a blog post containing information on the process of designing a sparkly engagement ring incorporating multiple gemstones, which you can read here.
We were delighted and truly honoured to be entrusted with the following wedding ring commission for our customers. Our Sandcast 9ct Yellow Gold Organic Wave Ring with Heirloom Diamond & Montana Sapphires is a beautifully textured and rugged compliment to a very special engagement ring.
Our customer came to visit our workshop to view our jewellery & materials in person, but if Penzance if a bit too far afield, we have compiled a journal post outlining some of the points to consider when commissioning a personal piece of jewellery, which you can read here. We also offer video appointments, which are a great alternative to visiting in person.
Please do get in touch if you would like to discuss your own ideas for a commission.
