Our customer was inspired by our Sennen - Sandcast Bezel Set Ruby Ring, wishing to design a bespoke ring to showcase a stunning bright green emerald. They also found inspiration in the rugged finish of our Extra Texture Sandcast Collection and we love how the oxidised divots of texture in the 9ct yellow gold compliment the verdant sparkle of the emerald.

Bezel setting is considered to be the most protective style of gemstone setting, due to the precious metal completely encasing the gem, while still showcasing the beautiful facets & depths of the stone. This allows for gemstones that are slightly brittle, such as emeralds, or have soft surfaces, such as opals or quartz, to be worn as jewellery while still being secure from accidental damage.
