Heirloom Diamond Trilogy Engagement Ring in 18ct Yellow Gold

This gorgeous 18ct yellow gold engagement ring is a beautiful example of how heirloom materials can be respectfully remodelled into contemporary jewellery, more befitting of your tastes and preferences. Our lovely customer wished to unify this trio of stunning diamonds, from across two pieces of jewellery, into their engagement ring; honouring the sentiment and meaning of the materials while creating a much dreamt about ring.

We worked together during a workshop appointment to fully realise our customer's vision for their engagement ring, examining various colours and carats of gold against the diamonds to ensure their magnificent sparkle was showcased to the utmost degree. The band of the ring is 3mm wide, striking a balance between being delicate and wearable without overpowering the diamonds. A flat profile contrasts nicely with the rounded edges of the bezel settings. Our journal post, How to Design or Choose a Ring from Home, contains a section detailing the differences in ring profiles, alongside other key points of consideration.

Our customer opted for bezel settings, in matching 18ct yellow gold, to both frame and protect the gemstones, with precious metal entirely encasing the edges of the stones. The rich hues of 18ct yellow gold refract beautifully through the diamonds, complimented by a gleaming antique polish finish across the ring. Another of our journal posts, Comparing Precious Metals, contains examples of the colours & carats of precious metal that we work with, alongside the finishes we offer.

It is always truly a pleasure to be able to reimagine such personally significant materials into heirlooms for the future, to be loved and worn anew for a lifetime.
