Oval Diamond Solitaire Ring in Sandcast 18ct Yellow Gold

This gorgeous diamond solitaire was a truly show-stopping commission. Our lovely customers were initially drawn towards the stunning sizeable oval diamond, so we worked closely together to best showcase the dazzling gemstone. 

We began by casting buttery rich 18ct yellow gold in sand from an especially sentimental location, imparting the organically dappled texture and capturing grains of sand within the precious metal. Adding a subtle taper to a 4mm Flat Sandcast Ring draws the eye towards the shimmering inner dimensions of the diamond, while a slim bezel setting offers total protection to the gemstone.

Opting to finish the 18ct yellow gold with an antique polish allows the gold to truly shine, matching the glitter of the diamond spectacularly and creating a truly covetable ring that looks just as stunning worn alone as when part of a gemstone laden stack.
