22ct Yellow Gold Highly Polished Sandcast Signet Ring

The rounded edges and gleaming polish of this bespoke sandcast signet commission felt rather sumptuous and very captivating. 22ct gold contains 91.7% pure gold, so has an inimitably luxurious yellow hue. We find high purity gold lends itself beautifully to sandcasting, with finished pieces often feeling akin to ancient treasures flecked with dappled texture. Historically signet rings were often engraved across the face, and used as a personal emblem to stamp into the wax seals of correspondence. Therefore each ring was uniquely meaningful, and representative of the wearer. We see the tradition as somewhat continuing into today, with signet rings experiencing a resurgence of popularity and being made in the widest array of designs and materials imaginable. Each ring speaks to individual tastes and preferences, and we are always intrigued and delighted to be entrusted with crafting such personal rings.

Our lovely customer enjoyed the rustic texture and rounded profile of our 9mm Sandcast Signet Ring but preferred an entirely rounded profile alongside a chunkier band. We scaled up the size of the face ever so slightly and softened every buttery smooth edge. The finished ring absolutely glowed, and was rather spellbinding to behold, with flecks of sand twinkling like gemstones from within the gold.
