Sandcast Heirloom Gold Diamond & Sapphire Cluster Ring

This seriously sparkly cluster ring was a stunning example of the possibilities of reimagining heirloom materials. Our lovely customer had a collection of much loved, but unworn, jewellery they wished to give a new lease of life by combining the precious metal and gemstones into a statement ring that would speak more truly to their style and preferences.

Our customer initially felt inspired by the claw set diamonds of our Carbis Bay - Sandcast Diamond Cluster Ring, enjoying how the cluster setting could accommodate multiple gemstones of varying sizes while still feeling delicate and wearable. The idea truly crystallised while browsing our Commissions Gallery, with our Sandcast 18ct Yellow Gold Ring with x8 Diamonds in Cluster of Claws & Open Bezel Settings and Sandcast 18ct White Gold Diamond Engagement Ring with Bespoke Cluster Setting both particularly speaking to our lovely customer. 

A mixture of bezel and claw settings strongly appealed, creating variance and movement as the stones seem to float across the ring. Justin designed a bespoke cluster setting around our customer's heirloom diamonds and sapphires to best showcase each glittery gemstone. We love the contrast between the rich yellow gold sandcast band and the sleek polish of the icy white gold settings.
