Tresco Beach Cast Gold & Silver Necklace
Made by Justin while on the Isles of Scilly, this necklace was cast directly on Gimble Porth beach on Tresco. Using bits and pieces foraged from the shore and cast from recycled silver and high carats of gold, these unique forged beads hung on an 9ct yellow gold chain.
This is how our sandcast collection was first formed, sitting on Newlyn beach at low tide with basic jewellery tools, bits of drift wood and the elements. Justin said that it was brilliant to be making jewellery out in nature again.
This pendant was one of a kind, sold from the Off the Bench Peg, a space in which our jewellers are given total freedom creatively, using reclaimed materials to craft one-off & bespoke pieces.
