Silver Sandcast Kos Pendant Ring B - Off the Bench Peg

Made by Jamila, this piece can be worn as a pendant or as a ring. It was very much inspired by the idea of making a versatile two in one piece of jewellery that felt just as special however it was worn. 

The name 'Kos' was suggested by one of our lovely followers and is Norwegian for mindfulness and comfort. It felt a fitting choice as the shape and feel of the pendant is reminiscent of skimming stones.

This piece is cast from recycled silver and in sand from Kos Island in Greece. The sand  has given the pendant ring a really lovely organic texture, capturing some of the grains within the silver itself to almost look like little gemstones. 

As a ring it fits comfortably on fingers around the O-Q size. It also sits very nicely in a ring stack, with the sandy texture peeping out over the top of neighbouring rings.
