9ct Yellow Gold Sandcast Engagement Ring with Hand Cut Quartz & Sandcast Wedding Set in 9ct Yellow Gold

This sweet engagement and wedding ring set was commissioned in matching 9ct yellow gold, and unified by the texture imparted by casting precious metal in a personal blend of sand from a special location. Tiny grains get captured in the metal, meaning a part of your favourite place is carried within your jewellery. Our ever growing sand collection contains over 500 sands from beaches, deserts, riverbeds, gardens and beyond, and is a wonderful way to add extra sentiment to your jewellery.

For the dainty engagement ring we looked towards our Small Sandcast Perranuthnoe Ring and our Sandcast 18ct Yellow Gold in Perranuthnoe Sand with Perranuthnoe Rose Cut Quartz for inspiration on a more organically influenced solitaire design. Our customer loved the idea of hand cut quartz as their central gemstone, meaning a protective bezel setting was the safest option to protect and showcase the soft crystal. We love the unique glitter of quartz against the warmth of the gold.

Both wedding rings are our 4mm Flat Sandcast Ring, with one being subtly shaped to sit naturally and comfortably alongside the delicate engagement ring.
