Champagne Vintage Diamond Engagement Ring with Diamond Scatter Wedding Ring in Heirloom Sandcast Gold

When our lovely customer came to visit our workshop, they became enamoured with this stunning 5.49mm vintage champagne diamond, amidst our wonderful collection of ethically sourced gemstones. We often find that discovering the perfect gemstone means the ring design then harmonises around the jewel. Our journal post, How to Design Your Vintage Diamond Engagement Ring, outlines some points of consideration for these unique and beautiful stones. In this case, we chose to set the champagne diamond as a solitaire, held in a bespoke claw setting to allow light to flood the stone. 

Our customer also had a collection of sentimental jewellery they wished to rework and incorporate into their wedding band. Their sparkly and dainty heirloom white diamonds were a perfect choice to be set into darkened divots of texture, so for the wedding band we looked towards our 3mm Extra Texture Sandcast Scatter Ring. The rugged finish of our Extra Texture Sandcast Collection is a gorgeous compliment to the delicate gleam of our standard sandcast dappled texture. Both rings were given an antique polish finish and had the most beautiful glow. We love the rich, gilded hues of the finished set, with the champagne diamond twinkling perfectly against the gold, and each sparkly white diamond casting warm reflection as they catch the light.
