Diamond Sea Treasure Sandcast Ring in 9ct Yellow Gold

Made by Chloe, our Diamond Sea Treasure ring showcased a trio of fabulous reclaimed gemstones - a large rose cut salt and pepper diamond, a rose cut pink diamond and an old cut vintage diamond. We love the harmony between the more unusually hued diamonds. Chloe felt greatly inspired by our captivating Cornish ocean and the ring feels as if it could have grown amongst corals and crystalline rocks upon the seabed.

Chloe cast the 9ct yellow gold band in sand from Porthkidney Beach. Grains of sand captured within the metal impart the beautifully dappled organic texture, keeping a part of your favourite place close to you. The ring had an organically undulating shape that moulded around the three diamonds, held safely in place by bezel settings in 9ct white gold. This ring truly felt like a piece of treasure, fit for every kind of mermaid.

Our sea treasure ring was sold from the Off the Bench Peg, a space in which our jewellers are given total freedom creatively, using reclaimed materials to craft one-off & bespoke pieces.

We always enjoy seeing how our more experimental pieces inspire our lovely customers and were delighted to be commissioned for two separate pieces based on Chloe's design, each reimagining a mixture of beautiful heirloom gemstones - our Ruby & Diamond Sea Treasure Ring in Sandcast 9ct Gold and our Fire Opal Sea Treasure Ring in 9ct Yellow Gold with Brown & White Diamonds.
