Raw Spinel 9ct Yellow Gold Earrings

Made by Jamila for Off the Bench Peg, the red spinels have been cast, not set, in 9ct yellow gold. The sandcast gold encases each raw spinel in forms inspired by the natural and irregular shapes of the gemstones. We particularly like how the molten gold didn't completely cover the back of one of the spinels, yet still holds them securely in these dangly earrings.

Justin bought the rough spinels decades ago so we were delighted to be able to give them a new lease of life as earrings.
