Sandcast 18ct White Gold Diamond & Sapphire Pendant

Our lovely customer felt incredibly inspired by the volcanic black sands and icy blue seas of a winter visit to Iceland, and wanted to commission a pendant that would echo the textures and colours of such a special trip. We love creating pieces imbued with personal sentiment and were delighted to be able to create a really meaningful bespoke pendant.

They kindly provided Icelandic volcanic sand for our ever growing sand collection, which we used to impart the organically rugged texture of the pendant. Ruthenium plating darkened the divots of texture, providing a stunning contrast with the icy twinkle of ethically sourced sapphires and diamonds.

Our customer also chose to utilise our engraving service to add coordinates to the back of the pendant, in an almost secret nod to their favourite place. For detailed information on our engraving service, as well as examples, read our blog post.
