Sandcast Kos Pendant Ring in 18ct gold with rainbow sapphires - Off the Bench Peg

Made by Jamila, this piece can be worn as a pendant or as a ring. It was very much inspired by the idea of making a versatile two in one piece of jewellery that felt just as special however it was worn. 

This time Jamila wanted to make this piece a bit more colourful and fun. She cast recycled 18ct yellow gold in St Ives beach sand (a nod to Hepworth) and set with a scatter of rainbow coloured sapphires and rubies in varying sizes. 

The name 'Kos' was suggested by one of our lovely followers and is Norwegian for mindfulness and comfort. It felt a fitting choice as the shape and feel of the pendant is reminiscent of skimming stones.

As a ring it fits comfortably on fingers around the L-M size. It also sits very nicely in a ring stack, with the gemstones peeping out over the top of neighbouring rings.

For wearing as a pendant, do let us know whether you would prefer a 16", 18" or 20" 18ct yellow gold curb chain. We have also given the option without a matching chain.
