This ring feels like a treasure found on the seabed. A beautiful Old Mine Cut diamond has been bezel set in sandcast 22ct yellow gold. Both the bezel and the ring have been cast in sand from Sennen beach - which has given the gold a rich organic texture.
Old Mine Cut diamonds are evocative of the past. They were cut by hand hundreds of years ago, following the natural octahedral shape of diamond crystals. They reflect the warmth of the gold beautifully and in much the same way that they would have reflected candlelight many years ago.
