Sandcast Kos Pendant Ring in 9ct gold with rainbow sapphires - Off the Bench Peg

Made by Jamila, this piece can be worn as a pendant or as a ring. It was very much inspired by the idea of making a versatile two in one piece of jewellery that felt just as special however it was worn.

Cast from recycled 9ct yellow gold and set with a scatter of rainbow coloured sapphires and rubies in varying sizes.

The name 'Kos' was suggested by one of our lovely followers and is Norwegian for mindfulness and comfort. It felt a fitting choice as the shape and feel of the pendant is reminiscent of skimming stones.

Since naming the original piece, Jamila has visited the Greek island of Kos and collected sand, so this one has been cast in sand of it's namesake - from Limnionas beach to be exact.

As a ring it fits comfortably on fingers around the M-N size. It also sits very nicely in a ring stack, with the gemstones peeping out over the top of neighbouring rings.
